Garden design in stages: Creating perfect design 1 - Initial design consultation During our first meeting we will discuss what it is that you envision to create in your outdoor space and how I can help you to achieve that. ​ your likes, your dislikes garden styles & themes, practical aspects of the project, budget, and time scales. After the meeting you will receive a Design Brief and a quote for the recommended services. 2 - Site survey & analysis Every great design starts with a thorough site survey. I will conduct it myself but if the site is quite complex, I might recommend hiring a professional surveyor. ​ necessary information about existing conditions of the site, soil, aspect, plantings etc. 3 - Concept plan This is an initial visualization of the new garden. It will develop from rough sketches to a final plan as we share ideas and talk about options, arriving at design that is practical and meets your wishes and budget. ​ top view drawing, mood-boards, perspective sketches etc. Only once you’re completely happy with the proposal I will proceed to next phase. Preparing for & the construction 4 - Technical drawings In this phase we will talk about details.
